It all started in 1929, when Julius Kaminsky drove a Nash home from Jacksonville and sold it in Savannah, then went back for another. That first showroom on Broughton Street went on to sell Nash, Rambler, and Jeep. Jeep is the brand that stuck, and it makes Southern Motors one of the oldest Chrysler and Jeep dealers in the country.
